Our Approach

Bio

I like to play guitar.

Hi.  I'm a guitar player, a singer, and all-around stand-up guy.  I've been playing rockabilly since before I knew it was called rockabilly, and country since, as the song goes, "before country was cool."  I've had the good fortune to play with some great musicians over the years, and am currently working a great group of them in 2 different bands and a barbershop quartet.  Come see us at one of the gigs listed on the home page and say "Hi."  I look forward to meeting you.

If it's country, rockabilly, swing-a-billy, jazz-a-billy, swing, blues, jump blues, folky, just plain fun, or some combination of those, I'm into it, because it all rocks.  Or swings.  Or both.

I'm pretty busy these days, but I can usually squeeze in another gig here and there, and I can probably make you sound better.  Electric, acoustic, lead, rhythm guitar, lead and backup vocals, I'm up for it.  Thanks for stopping by.

Our Story

I Like to Sing

I've sung solo, in choirs, choruses, and most recently, in my barbershop quartet.  I'm a baritone in the quartet, the part that gets all the cool notes.  With the bands I play in, I sing every chance I get.  I can sing the lead (melody) of the song, or I can sing harmonies in the background.  My quartet, pictured here, is called the Overland Avenue Quartet.  We sing for parties, events, singing Valentines, we've sung the National Anthem before several Los Angeles Galaxy games with the Oceanaires.
